She enhances these textured surfaces with layers of vibrant oil paint, creating works that engage the viewer’s senses and draw attention to the interplay of material and form.

Rendered in bold, saturated hues, these pieces evoke warmth, intimacy, and care while inviting viewers to consider their layered complexity. At the same time, the vibrant color palette and magnified textures push these objects into the realm of abstraction, reimagining the familiar as something new. Part of her broader Comfortcore series, the works reflect an exploration of how familiar household items—like blankets and knits—can be elevated into symbols of comfort, labor, and emotional connection.
