Veronika Pausova

Veronika Pausova (b. 1987, Prague, Czech Republic) is a Montréal-based painter whose work blends surreal figuration with graphic abstraction. Her oil paintings feature recurring elements like hands, flowers, and insects, layered with experimental techniques to explore themes of time, transformation, and memory. Pausova’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at Simone Subal Gallery (New York), the Esker Foundation (Calgary), and The Sunday Painter (London). Her paintings are held in prominent collections, such as the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts and the Zabludowicz Collection.
